Group will offer a supportive environment where young people can find safety and acceptance among their peers. It will provide a space for creativity, self-expression, and self-discovery, while also teaching coping strategies for navigating their communities and families. Additionally, participants will learn how to advocate for themselves and others within the LGBTQ+ community.

The group will offer young people a creative outlet for self-expression and exploration, emphasizing the benefits of journaling and free writing as therapeutic techniques outside of therapy sessions. This approach will help deepen their understanding of themselves, their values, and their mental health struggles. By utilizing these tools, the group aims to foster strength-based shifts in perspective, empowering youth to creatively navigate and overcome life's challenges.

Clients understand basic psychology and form connections with other people interested in psychology. Ignite a passion for mental health and psychology.

Clients will read chapters of the book on their own and come prepared to group ready to discuss the chapter(s) and process their understanding of the education from the book.

The group will follow the book Psychology 101- using the chapters as discussion points.
