Clinical Psychologist

We are currently seeking a Part-time Clinical Psychologist (PsyD PhD). The ideal candidate will be qualified to administer psychological and cognitive assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop effective treatment plans based on their evaluations.


Duties include:

  1. Assess client needs, abilities or behavior using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of behavior.
  2. Tests assess and diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, behavioral, developmental, social and interpersonal problems, and challenging behavior to all patients of all ages up to 21yrs old.
  3. Coordinate and deliver patient care in a cost-effective manner, utilizing resources appropriately and adhering to all CHCS protocols for care.
  4. Work collaboratively with staff and other clinicians to provide optimal patient care through multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
  5. Monitor and report testing outcomes as necessary to in agency clinicians.
  6. Create and keep documentation as required by agency policies, ethics and best practices.
  7. Attend required staff meetings and case consultations.
  8. Provide consultation with professionals inside the agency, and by request from those outside the agency, who are involved in the care of clients served by CHCS.
  9. Develop and monitor appropriate programs of treatment and/or training, including specialized therapy services, clinical supervision services, and other services as requested.
  10. Maintain current practice knowledge by meeting CE requirements and licensure.
  11. Abide by the Ethical and Professional Standards established by the American Psychological Association.
  12. Comply with all agency policies and procedures including office hours which as part-time and P for P the schedule will determine the hours.
  13. Other duties as assigned.
  14. Provide clinical supervision to Psychology Service Extenders, LMSWs, LPCs and PsyD/PHD Psychology Practicum Interns as requested.


Education:

Doctoral degree in Psychology and licensure as a psychologist to practice independently in the State of Idaho.


Required Skills:

Well versed in psychological and neurobehavioral assessment with children and adolescents and competent in the areas of therapy, interdisciplinary consultation, and diagnostics. Organized; Proficient in Word/ Excel; Good interpersonal skills; Time management skills; Strong writing skills.


Preferred Skills:

Bilingual in Spanish
