Interested in Farm & Nature Based Therapy?

Welcome to the Warm Springs Care Farm!

A therapeutic sanctuary for people and animals.

At Warm Springs Care Farm, just down the street, we offer a unique therapeutic experience through our Care Farm Therapy. Our trained therapists blend nature-based and animal-assisted therapies to create a healing environment where people and animals come together. The farm provides a structured approach to therapy, offering clients hands-on learning activities that foster personal growth and well-being. Here, the natural surroundings and gentle presence of animals play a central role in the therapeutic process, creating a sanctuary for transformative healing.

Mission is to improve the mental health and well-being of families with restorative care farm experiences and therapies.

Vision
is to be a therapeutic sanctuary where people and animals connect, learn and grow.

Our partnership

Warm Springs Care Farm is a not for profit 501(c)3 located on the east end of Boise, Idaho and right down the street from our Boise counseling center. The farm is a valued partner of the Children's Home.

With use of the farm we are able to offer farm-based and outdoor therapies and groups for children, adolescents and young adults and trainings for clinicians through our training center.

Authentic Farm Care Experience

Pygmy goats, chickens, ducks, ponies, horses and other animals teach patience, kindness, and empathy. Planting and growing edibles and herbs connects us to the earth and grounds us in calming ways.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Licensed Therapists work with children and adults to support healing and growth using farm-based and animal-assisted psychotherapy.

Community Engagement

Opportunities for children, teens, adults and groups to volunteer on the farm enable the community to connect with nature and serve the non profit. Everyone benefits! The Rotary Club, Girl Scouts and local churches have all helped the Warm Springs Care Farm in unique ways.
