I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and my Bachelor of Science from Indiana University.
I have focused my education and clinical career on trauma work, family systems, behavioral health, parent-coaching, parent-child relational therapy, and work with foster youth. I have worked extensively in the area of parent coaching and value the impact caregivers have on the children they care for.
I work to create a warm and nurturing environment to best facilitate change and mental health treatment for children, adolescents, teens, and their families. I utilize an Adlerian approach, along with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Child Centered and Directive Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Discipline Parent Education.
I was born and raised in the Midwest and have called Meridian home for the past 5 years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 3 children, and dogs. I also have several hobbies including photography, gardening, baking, rollerblading, paddle-boarding, art, and reading.
