My philosophy is to meet folks where they are, to have reverence as I learn about their experiences, and address concerns through the lens of a trauma-focused, strengths-based, and empowering approach. That typically means, that I validate my client’s experiences, prioritize walking alongside them in their therapeutic journey, and help normalize that everyone moves forward at different paces.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have experience serving diverse populations with dignity and respect. Some of the populations I have worked with include but are not limited to neurodiverse individuals, single parents, and families that have come to the Treasure Valley through refugee resettlement. Most recently, I have had the honor of serving those in Foster Care, BIPOC folks, the Latine/x community, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
In 2023, I completed a fellowship with the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (URLEND). Where I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, which prioritized the lens of the “Maternal & Child Health Leadership Competencies,” a part of the Health Resources and Services Administration.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and loving on my miniature poodle (Timmy). My hobbies include playing music, painting, hiking, and paddle boarding.
